Description
Peak Asker (3,250 m) rises directly above the Tuyuk-Su alpine camp in Chyortovo Ushchelye (Devil’s Gorge). Like Oktyabrenok, Asker’s value is its route density: six routes from 1A to 3B on its western wall, making it a natural training ground and a genuine rock-climbing destination.
The approach is the shortest of any Tuyuk-Su climb — the wall is literally above the camp. This makes Asker ideal for afternoon climbing sessions after morning instruction, or as a bad-weather backup when higher peaks are socked in. The 1A route is accessible to strong hikers; the 3B routes demand real climbing skill.
