Nomad City

The Nomad City is an ethnocultural complex located in a picturesque valley of the Ili River, not far from Almaty. This unique site recreates the atmosphere of the nomadic lifestyle of ancient Kazakhs, offering a deep dive into the traditions, daily life, and architecture of the Great Steppe. The complex is designed as a reconstruction of a traditional nomadic village, complete with yurts and artisan workshops.

Additionally, the territory of the complex serves as a filming location for movies and TV series focused on the history and culture of nomadic peoples.
