Instead of taking the asphalt road, continue straight along the old path that leads to a trail beside the pipeline (Truba).

The ascent, approximately 2 kilometers long, initially follows metal steps before transitioning to a dirt path. For those who prefer a more rugged experience, bypassing the asphalt and sticking to the trail or even walking atop the pipeline is an option. Regardless of the chosen path, all routes converge at the beautiful Big Almaty Lake.
